             For those of you who don't know me my name is Carlos Valera and im 18 years old. I am a freshman here at Glendale Community college. I was born and raised in Chicago,Illinois. Moved here in Arizona when i turned 8. I have many interests and hobbies such as cooking. That is my main hobbies and what im striving to learn and study.

            Im planning on getting my Bachelors degree in Culinary management. However my main goal in life is one day to become a recognizable chef in the food industry and be able to become a master-chef.
     Once i get my degree im going to open my own bar and grill restaurant and call it "Jene sais pas" Meaning i don't know in french which i personally find it funny. 

          My goals for attending GCC is to take my basic courses and then transfer to Estella mountain to study cooking from there i'm going to be taking culinary classes and traveling across the globe becoming chefs apprentices and learn from them.
