Entry #7 "Fresh"

Have you ever thought about the food you eat and where it comes from?
I mean, really, really thought about it?
Questioned it? Considered it? Are you thinking about it now? Why or why not?
Do you think that  it comes from a farm loving family that we've all  see on TV  like this one were the "assure your that there produce is freshly pick"
What about our meats? Can we truly know how the animals are treated before consuming them?
Well, those questions are answered in a film called Fresh, you might be wondering, w
hat is the purpose of this film? The film explains what is going on with our food.
To begin, From what i remember is that it starts off in a family farm where they talk about how their organically produced products are clean and pure; however not all of us are lucky to have freshly produced foods a hand. In fact most of society relies on industrial farming. And there's a huge differences between organically produced and industrially produced.
And here's why: According to the film Fresh  they show us that those big food companies  don't care for the quality of the food we eat. They buy the cheapest ways to feed the animals and to increase the productivity the keep them all locked away in small confide places where 100s to 1000s of animals can be in. And here's an example of industrially VS.organically
I was completely speechless when i saw this movies seeing all those animals mistreated and being injected with growth hormones to increase food production but what hit me the most was when they said that they have been feeding the animals the own kind. I know that's cannibalism but for animals and all the diseases that came from this was insane such as mad cow disease and swine flue. I believe that this film brings out the best of eating freshly organically foods and the dangers of continuing to consume industrial foods. AND it is IMPORTANT that we change the way society is right now before mother nature starts fighting back.
